Criminal Trespass Case Dismissed by Prosecution on Day of Trial

Posted By Brandon Sims || 9-Feb-2016

On February 9, 2016, Brandon Sims was set for trial on a criminal trespass case in County Court at Law #3 in Fort Bend County, Texas.

The client had been charged with criminal trespass on February 14, 2015 because she had been issued a criminal trespass warning and was told to leave the location on multiple occassions by several police officers. However, the client did not leave and remained on location for an additional 10-25 minutes. She was subsequently arrested for criminal tresspass at the same location.

Fortunately, Brandon was able to convince the prosecution that the client had suffered a medical episode (anxiety attack/panic attack) that prevented her from leaving the location in a timely manner. The case was dismissed on the day of trial.
